Weigh in Motion Systems (WIM)
An option which includes the use of ANPR is our Weigh In Motion System. WIM sites with ANPR cameras can help eliminate damage to the road surface due to over-weight HGV’s. Our high quality sensors can detect vehicles travelling over them at any speed and once an overweight vehicle is detected it can be identified and removed from the highway. The ANPR camera data can be used for prosecution in extreme cases.
