Sign W 143, Cyclists, is available for use where it is considered necessary to warn traffic of a cycle track crossing or joining a road, other than at a controlled crossing.
This sign should be provided on a national or regional road in advance of a junction at which a signed cycle route crosses. It may also be used to warn of the likely presence of a significant number of cyclists along a route.
