RUS 030 Contra-Flow Bus Lane
The RUS 030 Contra-Flow Bus Lane sign is used in a one-way street where a contra-flow bus lane is in operation. Signs should be erected facing traffic entering the street, and facing the direction of the main traffic flow after every side road junction.
Contra-flow bus lanes usually operate 24 hours a day. At the start of a contra-flow bus lane, the No Straight Ahead Sign, RUS 011, combined with a Supplementary Plate P 050, describing the appropriate exceptions, must be erected on either side of the bus lane carriageway to notify road users of the prohibition.
