Installed between the footpath and crossing area, it provides a powerful illuminated signal that changes from red to green in sync with pedestrian traffic lights — clearly indicating when it’s safe to cross.
With its low-profile, flush-mounted design, the SR-CROSSLED-L avoids creating tripping hazards while delivering a wide-angle illuminated area for outstanding visual impact. Built with robust materials and a stainless steel/polycarbonate housing, this hardwired unit is ideal for smart city pedestrian safety infrastructure. It operates on 12V DC with very low power consumption and offers additional lighting modes (flashing or sequential) when connected to an external controller.
Purpose-built for pedestrian crosswalks, the SR-CROSSLED-L features a 1-metre-long light-emitting surface with 24 high-brightness 5mm LEDs arranged in a linear format. With a wide 120° viewing angle and multiple LED colour options, it provides clear, immediate guidance to both pedestrians and drivers.
The device is IP67-rated for water resistance and IK10-rated for impact resistance, ensuring safe and continuous operation even in Ireland’s harshest weather. Installed on either side of a crosswalk, this unit plays a key role in intelligent transport systems by integrating seamlessly with pedestrian traffic signals for dynamic visual guidance.
