The W 080 Two-way Traffic is available to indicate that the road ahead, or crossing, carries two-way traffic.
Sign W 080, Two-way Traffic, should be used to indicate a change from one-way to two-way traffic on a single carriageway.
It should also be used at intervals along a length of single carriageway which might be mistaken for a dual carriageway. Such signs will serve to remind drivers, especially at night, that they are on a single carriageway.
