W 050L Sharp Corner – Left
The W 050L Sharp Corner – Left sign is used to indicate sharp corners or bends ahead. The sign should be used sparingly, and only where drivers will experience difficulty in negotiating the corner or bend without slowing down.
W 050L sign should be used where the inside radius of the corner is 20m or less, the change of direction is approximately 90° and, in the opinion of the Road Authority, the corner is deceptive and constitutes a potential hazard.
