Health and Safety
Rennicks operate a Health and Safety Management System to eliminate or minimize risk to employees and other third parties who may be exposed to hazards associated with Rennicks activities.
Safety is the Number One priority within the Company. It is a responsibility both of the Company and individual employees to ensure that the Company’s operations are managed in a safe and healthy manner.
As longstanding members of the National Irish Safety Organization we undertake to operate a comprehensive environmental, health and safety (EHS) management system commencing with our manufacturing processes right through to all aspects of our on site contracting activities.
In line with legislative changes Rennicks have the proven capacity to competently carry out the role of project supervisor construction stage (PSCS) on multiple projects nationwide.
Rennicks are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment as a prerequisite to all our operations. We enlist the active support of employees and subcontractors to achieve such conditions.
INVESTIMENT IN THE FUTURE
As part of our ongoing future investment program, health, safety and welfare play a considerable role. To ensure continuation of future growth for the Company a considerable management, staff and site crew training budget is allocated annually.
The addition of a dedicated, full time site health and safety advisor further enhances the Company’s ability to provide industry sector leading site safety performance, through the development and implementation of a comprehensive environmental, health and safety (EHS) management system.
Through a set of formally documented systems Rennicks monitor, analyse and report the EHS performance of all construction actives (including any subcontractors), while defining benchmarks for continuous improvement within our business.
Only by developing performance standards to measure the successful implementation of the EHS management systems, and that of our subcontractors, can we ensure that Rennicks fulfill our legal duties to employees, clients, shareholders and members of the general public alike.
We have a zero tolerance attitude towards accidents. The effective management of health and safety will always be a key priority.
The implementation of our safety systems and processes is now being explicitly measured to highlight excellent performance and to identify areas for improvement.
